If you’ve never heard of Alphabet children’s clothes, then you’re in for a real treat when you begin shopping for your new baby’s clothing. Alphabet is one of the top French clothing makers of kids’ apparel. They are known not only for being stylish and fun but also for creating clothes that are made of the highest quality materials and that are built to last. As any parent knows, that’s definitely worth paying a little extra for. However, if you’re going to start buying clothing now, there are few tips that you’ll want to keep in mind whether you’re shopping for Alphabet or other brands.

Picking the Right Size

As with any age group, size matters. With babies, however, choosing the right size can be difficult. You can’t very well take him or her into the dressing room even after he or she is born, at least not for awhile. Plus, the size ranges on baby clothes are done in terms of the baby’s age. However, most of us know that there can be a world of difference in size between one three month old and another.

So what should a parent do? The golden rule is to buy sizes that are about double your child’s current age. That means if you have a 6 month old right now you’d want to buy clothes for a 12 month old. Of course, they may be a bit big at first. That’s fine because babies grow quickly. It’s the too small Alphabet clothes you want to avoid.

Also, don’t worry about investing a ton of money in newborn clothing. Your babies will almost have outgrown it on the day they are born.

Picking the Right Materials

One of the best things about Alphabet is that almost all of their clothes are made from cotton. Cotton is one of the best clothes to choose for babies because it is soft and comfortable for your child. Plus, cotton is absorbent and stains come off of it much easier than with other types of fabric. That’s a definite plus because babies tend to make lots of messes on themselves.

Picking the Right Laundering Directions

When people buy baby clothes, they don’t always look at the label but they should. Many of the more upscale baby brands require dry cleaning or hand washing which just isn’t practical for new parents. That’s another advantage to Alphabet because most of their clothes are completely fine being machine washed. You’ll just want to follow the instructions on the label.

Machine washing is always going to be a huge time and money saver when it comes to babies. You’ll find yourself doing a lot more laundry but that goes with the territory.

Picking the Safest Garments

If you’ve ever looked at some baby clothes and thought about the dangers of all those small pieces, then you’re not alone. One of the other reasons why people love Alphabet clothes so much is that they are designed to be safe for babies and that can give parents peace of mind as well as stylish children.
