When it’s time to dress up your little boy, the two of you probably have a difference in opinion. He will stay happy in his shorts and tee shirt and you’ll be happy with him in a suit that makes him look like “daddy.” While the two of you may never agree, you can still dress your little guy up in a casual suit where he will feel comfortable and you will be happy that he’s not in a tee shirt.

This is where the European design house of Miniman comes in. Miniman offers a line of casual sophistication through their Riviera Club line. Here are some things to look for when dressing up your casual boy with Miniman clothing:

Mix And Match

Whether it’s a long sleeve shirt with a seersucker jacket or a tee shirt with a nice vest sweater over the top, you have the ability to mix and match depending on the setting and your mood. These clothes also keep him comfortable enough to still feel like himself versus some suits where his may feel more confined. The Miniman Riviera Club line also gives him a chance to look more individual than dad instead of a smaller version, suit and all.

Look for Roomy Clothes

Even though he’s expected to behave and sit still while he’s in his suit, little boys will be little boys. As soon as they are able, they are going to want to run and play and get into whatever mischief they can find. This is where having roomy clothes come in. Miniman clothes are cut roomy so that he can get back to the business of being a boy as soon as possible. He’ll feel more comfortable and will be less likely to rip or tear his clothes because of the looser fit.

Machine Washable

As with Miniman casual wear, the Riviera Club line is machine washable for ease of care. No one wants to add to their weekly dry cleaning bill, especially with children’s clothes. Miniman makes it easy by insuring all of their children’s clothes in this line are machine washable. Even the Riviera Club Seersucker Bermuda Blazer can be tossed in the washing machine. How handy is that?

Comfortable For Him To Wear

In addition to being roomy, you also want clothes that are comfortable for him to wear. In other words, no scratch materials that will make him pull or scratch or cry. Miniman clothes are all 100 cotton, so they are sure to be soft and comfortable against his skin even when he first puts it on. As he wears his clothes more and more, they feel better to him over time and he may even look forward to dressing up!

Getting your little boy to dress up can be a challenge. Once you with the battle, keeping him dressed up can be your next big test. Finding clothes for him that are comfortable, roomy and allow him to keep being a boy instead of feeling confined and stuffy are one way to with not only the battle, but also the dressing up war!
