Has anyone explained just how important experiences can be? It can easily be overlooked, and as you read every word of this article, you will discover, just how important this is. You will discover in a simple example how your experiences shape you to become who you will be.
Like a blacksmith who works on metal, so do our experiences work to mold us, to be who we will be. The truth can be found in simplicity, and the example we will follow is of 2 people. How one person living right beside another can have such drastic differences, in life?
Neighbor A and neighbor B, start from a young age. They are both same age, and life side by side with each other. One lives in house A, while neighbor B lives in house B.
A and B go to school, and grow up as friends. However, their lives go in totally different directions. One goes forward to become a major success, while the other goes through life, like so many, in a life of mediocrity.
What has become of all the dreams? How can neighbor A succeed, while B does not? After all, they live right next door to each other?
This can bring up many questions and answers. Some will say it was luck that neighbor A becomes successful, while B does not. This may have an element of truth; however, when you are geared for success, then we need better answers than praying or blaming lady luck.
You see, your success or failure in life comes down to many factors - the biggest being you! Your experiences are the way that you become molded to be what you will be.
All people have these same phenomena prevalent in their lives. How many roads contain success stories and failures? How many roads contain tomorrow's success stories?
Experiences serve us in many ways. Experiences are part of both neighbor A and B's life. However, these experiences also have an added factor of how we see them.
Experiences then become ways to increase confidence and faith, and these experiences then make a person with a stock of confidence, that when they want to achieve something, they will.
I am sure A and B can both tell you about why they are, what they have, but when you can look from this new perspective, you can see how the experiences you have experienced, has molded you, in such a way, that you are what you are, because of your past experiences.
The interesting thing is that the most important experiences are when we are young. These experiences mold and make us. And our actions today, are largely due to the increase in confidence that experiences gave us or not, in our youth.
