and that matters the most when I do not feel quite so,
but as usual, your words inspire me and lift me up,
and there is a few other things that you should know:
This last year has not been our easiest,
it has been turbulent but you have been there for me,
and it seems that change just makes us stronger,
and I guess that is the way it needs to be.
Shortly after we met you sent me to Focus,
and that gave me my life back and changed it forever,
you saw through the walls that I had built up over the years,
and decided that you and the little girl should be together.
And together is what we shall be my darling,
because of you I have accepted the good Lord above,
and I know I have finally found my happiness,
because at last I have found the wonder of your love.
The night you knelt and prayed for me,
it was 1:45am on November twenty third,
well, that was a life changing moment for me,
and yes, I think your prayers must have been heard.
Because I want to promise you undying devotion,
that is really what these words are for,
here is to you, (NAME), you are truly amazing,
and here is to our unconditional love, for evermore.
So, lets rock in our chairs and watch our grandchildren play,
my, how I am looking forward to acting out our grand plan,
because I know I will have spent my life with you,
and I could not have shared it with a finer man.
You may be nervous about standing up and reading a poem to your fiance but now is the time to pull out all the stops, stand up proud and tell the whole room how much you love this person. I can guarantee there will not be a dry eye in the room.
