The Friend Factory
Would you like to have some new friends? If so, I have some great news for you. You can make your own friends, just the way you want them. You make them in your friend factory.
Here is some more great news. In the friend factory, you're the boss. You get to make all of the rules. No one can tell you what to do or how to behave. You're the friend factory boss. You're in charge.
The things I'm going to tell you are important secrets. Only the friend factory boss is allowed to know about them. Please keep them to yourself. Please don't tell anyone else.
The first secret is this. Before you can find the friend factory, you need to take a very deep breath. Did you take a really big breath? Go ahead. Take a gigantic breath and blow it out. It's just like blowing out the candles on your birthday cake.
Did you take a big breath and blow it out? If so, you can use your imagination to find the friend factory. Where on Earth do you think it is?

The Yes Bank
What is the Yes Bank? A river has a bank on each side but they aren't Yes Banks.
Maybe you have a piggy bank. Can you keep a piggy in a piggy bank? That's silly, isn't it? A piggy bank is a good place to keep money but it isn't the Yes bank.
Here's a hint. You can stand on a river bank but you can't stand on the Yes Bank. You can hold a piggy bank but you can't hold the Yes Bank.
Here's another hint. When you ask someone to do something, what do you want their answer to be? You want their answer to be "Yes."
When you ask someone to give you something, what do you want their answer to be? You want their answer to be "Yes."
When you ask someone to let you do something, what do you want their answer to be. You want their answer to be "Yes."
When you ask someone to help you, what do you want their answer to be? You want their answer to be "Yes."
What do you think? Is "Yes" a great answer? It sure is. It's spectacular and totally terrific.
The Yes Bank is full of answers. Some of the answers are "No." Some of the answers are "Maybe." Here's the great news. Some of the answers are "Yes."
What answer do you want? You want "Yes." That's why it's called the Yes Bank. It works like this.

The Success Train
How should a book about the success train start? I could tell you some stuff about freight trains but a freight train isn't the success train. A freight train is good for hauling stuff. You can haul trucks on a freight train. That's interesting but doesn't tell us much about the success train. We'll need a better way than that to start this book.
What about passenger trains? They are a good way to get to places you want to go. They have nice seats and some passenger trains have a dining car where you can have a snack. Wonder why you never see a freight, passenger train? That's a train with some cars for people and some cars to haul stuff. You see passenger trains and you see freight trains but don't see passenger, freight trains. That's interesting but doesn't help much with learning about the success train. We'll need a better way than that to start this book.
You've probably seen a toy train. Maybe you own one yourself. Some run on electricity. Some you just push along on the floor.
What did you say? Is that you talking to me? Are you saying, "Get this book started. I want to learn about the success train. That's enough stuff about other kinds of trains. Let's get down to some important business."
Well, okay. We'll do it. Let's get focused. Let's think about the success train. Toot! Toot! Here we go, clickety-clack, clickety-clack down the success track. It's time to say "Yes," to success.
